Welcome to my Personal Homepage
Born in Bordeaux (Gironde), south-west of France, I lived more than 20 years in one of the most famous wine region in the world, the Médoc. My home village, Cantenac, is located north of Bordeaux in the outskirts of Margaux, famous for its castle and its delicious wine.
I am staff researcher at the Instituto de Astrofisica de Canarias in La Laguna, Tenerife. My work deals with the search and characterisation of nearby low-mass stars and brown dwarfs in the solar neighbourhood and in open clusters and star-forming regions as well as the study of the shape of the mass function in the low-mass, substellar, and planetary-mass regimes.
